Manufacturers of salt melters put warnings on their labels to consumers concerning dangers to pets and children. In response to this problem, Gaia Enterprises reformulated its ice melter Safe Thaw™ to be guaranteed pet and child-safe (MSDS). In 1999 we launched Safe Paw™ through pet retailers.
