Our forecast remains unchanged and thus we continue to recommend taking action in preparation for this winter storm. Please see details below:
Another major Pacific Storm will move initially into California and then “dig” into the Southwest U.S. February 21-23 producing a wide variety of impactful weather. Weather impacts will include heavy mountain snow in portions of the Cascades (Washington and Oregon) with another area of heavy snow across the Southwest (Arizona and New Mexico), heavy rains in lower elevations and high winds. These items will lead to transportation disruptions (high elevation snow/lower elevation flooding) that will impact road, rail, and air travel. Because this remains a warning, we recommend taking action in preparation for this winter storm.
